Sending an Interview Request
An interview request is the first point of contact between your company and the candidate. Before the interview request, candidates do not have visibility into the companies or open roles on Pelpr. Our philosophy with a direct interview request is to flip the candidate experience upside down--requesting to speak with a candidate immediately and expedite the scheduling process for a first phone screen.
When you see a candidate of interest, send an Interview Request to see if they are interested in a conversation, too. After clicking on a candidate's name in the list, to the left-hand side, you will find an "Invite for interview" button on the candidate details card. Only owner and admin users can send interview requests (see: 'User Types and Permissions')
TIP: Since candidates are being promoted for a limited period of time and many profiles are taken offline everyday, it’s highly encouraged to reach out with an Interview Request the moment you think there’s potential.
Once you click ‘Invite for interview’, the candidate will receive your Interview Request. The candidate then has the ability to accept or reject the Interview Request. We encourage a 48 hour response time from candidates to do so.
